{"id":3273,"date":"2024-04-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-28T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.abrilabogados.com\/noticias\/open-call-for-aids-regarding-spanish-patent-and-utility-models-applications-for-2024\/"},"modified":"2026-04-23T21:30:34","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T19:30:34","slug":"open-call-for-aids-regarding-spanish-patent-and-utility-models-applications-for-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.abrilabogados.com\/en\/noticias\/open-call-for-aids-regarding-spanish-patent-and-utility-models-applications-for-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Open call for aids regarding Spanish Patent and Utility Models applications for 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">On April 18, the OEPM published the open call for applying for subsides regarding Patents and Utility Models referring to the year 2024 .<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>The period for applying for subsides begins on April 19 and ends on May 20, 2024, both inclusive.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The open call consists of two programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>The program for the promotion of applications Patents and Utility Models in Spain<\/strong>, subsidizing costs for the payment of fees for the application and granting of registration before the OEPM. The patent and utility models subject to subsidy are those published in the &#8220;Spanish Official Gazette of Industrial Property&#8221;, during the years 2021, 2022 and 2023<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>The program to promote applications for Patents and Utility Models abroad<\/strong>, subsidizing activities that involve costs for the payment of fees for obtaining a European patent, a PCT or a national patent in foreign national offices.
