On April 18, the OEPM published the open call for applying for subsides regarding Patents and Utility Models referring to the year 2024 .
The period for applying for subsides begins on April 19 and ends on May 20, 2024, both inclusive.
The open call consists of two programs.
The program for the promotion of applications Patents and Utility Models in Spain, subsidizing costs for the payment of fees for the application and granting of registration before the OEPM. The patent and utility models subject to subsidy are those published in the “Spanish Official Gazette of Industrial Property”, during the years 2021, 2022 and 2023
The program to promote applications for Patents and Utility Models abroad, subsidizing activities that involve costs for the payment of fees for obtaining a European patent, a PCT or a national patent in foreign national offices. The activities subject to subsidy are the ones filed from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.
