Abril Abogados in Legal Today: The Trade Secrets Protection Directive comes into force

Directive (EU) 2016/943 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 8, 2016, on the protection of undisclosed know-how and business information (trade secrets) against obtaining, illicit use and disclosure (hereinafter the Trade Secrets Directive) enters into force on July 5, giving Member States until June 9, 2018 to transpose it into their national legislation.
