In two months all companies and administrations must comply with the obligations established by the General Data Protection Regulation

The new European data protection regulation, RGPD, comes into force on May 25. There are barely two months left to adapt the processes related to data protection to the new regulation.

Since May 2016, the date on which the GDPR was approved, administrations and companies had to adapt to the new regulations. With such a long period of time, now the rush is coming, even to the government itself, which should have modified the Organic Law on Data Protection so that it was adapted before it came into force, and it is not expected to be approved until October, although the fact that we do not have an updated LOPD does not mean that the RGPD does not have to be complied with.
